Welcome

My name is Teresa Belcher and Science Communications is a communication consultancy that I set up in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom back in 2007. For five years, Science Communications Ltd worked with European scientific organisations, research institutions and industry to assist scientists, researchers and engineers to communicate their work to a wider audience. We worked on large collaborative multi-national projects, offering offered science communication expertise and project management, especially in the areas of food safety, public health, environment, agriculture, and life and earth sciences. Some of these projects included Med-Vet-Net, Epizone, Health-NCP-Net, AgriFoodResults, and CommNet.

In 2010, I moved back to my home town of Perth, Western Australia. I’ve since undertaken some science communication consultancy work in Perth (WA Museum, Curtin University), and I am now the Communications Manager for Rangelands NRM, a not-for-profit environmental organisation. I still dabble a bit in website design, freelance writing (see my articles at Science Network WA) and photography. I am on the committee of the WA Branch of the Australian Science Communicators (ASC). I tweet as SciCommTweet. Please feel free to follow me.

The previous Science Communications Ltd has now been taken down, so please stay tuned for an updated site soon.

In the meantime you can email me or contact me via my mobile +61 (0)488 594 324.
